Good run! No shame in losing to a car like that.

Is your car Photoshopped, or does it actually sit that low on Eibach's?

Check out the shadow of the rear bumper... if the car was really that low, the sun would be at about 15-25 degrees (which is near sunset), but it looks like he took the picture are around 2-3 pm.

N/A = naturally aspirated.

Basically, this means non-force inducted. (No turbo or supercharger). Some consider nitrous forced induction as well.

Hey flipmode

don't feel bad. I raced a similar civic (88-91) with a Hybrid 1.8 LS block with the GSR Head, with an intake and exhaust. We raced from a stoplight to about 105 mph. The first I lost, but the 2nd and 3rd I kicked his ***, when cars are so close in performance it's all up to the driver.

Curious. GSR head? I wonder how that guy fit the VTEC assemblies in and did the electronics to activate it. That would be pretty hard I would guess?

Actually Jeff...it's quite simple...
All B-series (DOHC) Honda/Acura parts are interchangeable...
So you can just slap a VTEC head (B16A2/B18C1/B17/etc)
onto a non-VTEC block (B18B, B20, etc)...
As far as the VTEC activation...it can simply be wired to your tach or you can use a VTEC ECU & wiring harness...
This is a cheaper alternative to dropping in an entire VTEC swap and actually results in MORE torque than a full VTEC motor....but you lose the oil squirters which are only in the VTEC blocks. I could go on for hours about Hondas.
