suspension question

well after drivin on blown struts or shocks or whatever they are for about 3 months i finally got some money to get new ones.. my question is which brand is everyone more content with and what are the prices and where could i get them at.?? also, im tryin to get new springs as well but i dont want any that will lower my car, i only want some stiffer ones with the same height, so if anyone has any suggestions, i'd really appreciate it.. btw i got a 97 SE if that helps..

Just get some KYB AGX's... That way you can stiffen up the ride plenty and still maintain the sexy wheelgap... Best of all, you don't need to drop the loot to get springs...

AGX's coupled with the stock springs work very well. So do the KYB GR2 shocks. Either will stiffen up your ride quite a bit. You don't need to change the springs to firm things up.

If cash is an issue, skip the AGXs...they are too expensive to
have them on the regular springs...GR2s, on the other hand, are
a great replacement to stock and things should be firmer too

GR2s, for a set, are running $260-ish (check the group buy forum).

good luck!

dustboots protect the shafts of the shocks/struts.
KYB dustboots also add some lost suspension travel.

I just bought a set from Tire Rack, with 2-day shipping,
for $57.00

you should probably replace them, but, if yours are still
good (that is, clean and not ripped/torn) then you can get
away with not changing 'em.
