could this break 15's??

everyone down here in FL claims i should be able to do 14.7's,but none of them own a maxima and are not aware of a maxima's 1/4 times. I am hoping i could sort of creep by the 15's and pray for a 14.9, i have a 2k1(auto) current mods are a greddy evo B-pipe, stillen ypipe, udp, and a place racing cold air, no vb mod or tranny cooler yet, but will that help? i have never ran my car before so any suggestions would be appreciated

I'd be amazed if you ran 14s. I would say mid 15s is more likely. Let us know how it goes.

Re: could this break 15's??

Hello fellow Maxima owner last night I ran my '96 MAX. I ran a 15.2@92mph and a 15.3 @92mph. It has an Injen cold air intake and an Apexi cat-back system. You have a little more mods than I do so you should probably be in high 14's, like they say. I also have a 5-speed manual. If yours is automatic then I dont know how much of a difference there would be. Peace out and good luck with your MAX.

if you don't break into the 14's, you'll be running very low 15's. if you take out your spare, lower the psi, and launch properly (the usual stuff...) you should do a 14.9 imho....

friend of mine with intake, ypipe and bpipe ran a consistent 15.4

it would be amazing if you could pull off a 14.9

My guess would be 15.6 @ 89mph. No way that car is getting anywhere close to 14s. Maybe in 30 degree weather with 10% Nitrous in the air.
