bird poop and car wax

Ok fellas, out of all the waxes I've tried, only Zaino allows for dried up bird poop to flake off the finish.

What other waxes that you've tried allows for this to happen?

Just to let people know, Zainoed or not, you're supposed to get that bird poop off ASAP by washing or using detailing spray. How much damage poop does depends on what the bird has had to eat, and not even Zaino or Klasse will stop everything.

If you allow bird poop to dry out, it super-concentrates and can cause damage, just like drying pollution filled rain water.

yup. true that. in hawaii, it's not so bad, but every now and then you walk out and it looks like your car's been pooped on by an ostrich that ate a box of raisin bran... that's when you find the nearest water source and hose it all off. oh the horror!

Could it be because both Zaino and Klasse are polymer based?

When your car is dirty and just after it rains are you able to do the 40mph car wash? Jump in your car, hit 40 and watch all the water and dirt gather on the trailing edges of your car. Then just wipe off all the trailing edges.

w/ Ibiz, 3M, Zymol, Mothers... the dirt kinda just sits there, as the water flys off the hood.

Bird poop is nothing compared to tree sap. Once that crap gets on your car, it never comes off, even after 30 minutes of scrubbing with tar and tree sap remover. As for your question, I think Zaino works the best for bird poop.
