What do you guys think about this? I would definetely pay $25 to get that sound. This goes in the muffler to get that PSSSSSSTTT sound that you hear from turbo cars with a blow off valve. I had one in my previous car ('98 eclipse turbo) and i loved the sound. I don't want to get a turbo system for my max because i am happy with my max's stock performance (who isn't?). SO my question is does any1 know someone that purchased this product? If i get this in my muffler, would this have any affect on the car's performance?

 

I had the actual blow off valve in my previous car. Just to clear that up.

just to clear things up, there's a little thing with a speaker that makes that noise that you can hook up under your engine bay. It can be linked to either your tranny, so when you shift it goes off, or to a button inside the cabin, so that you can make the sound whenever you want.

And movie companies just add in the BOV sound when they are editing the film.

 

dude you should hook up one of thosemusic boxes that the ice cream trucks have, because ice cream is cool. plus it would sound good coupled with the fake blow off valve.

 

please don't if you do...you'll spend everyday of you life explaining to people why you bought that. even when you do have a turbo car, "normal" people are always asking "is your car broke" "it makes funny noises." after a while you just want to kill

make sure u get the "turbo inside" stickers to really fool em.

as far as performance goes, you only have to explain why your turbo charged sounding car is so damn slow.


BTW isnt the cool sound the spooling ??? the wuuuushhhhhh sound before the blow off? thats what i like to hear.

 

You also need one of those fake intercoolers to complete the look.

 

and dont forget the huge wing on ther back either

i like that ice cream truck mod - lol, they had one where you wire it up to thw brake, everytime u tapp it, it would make a BOV noise
