Shaking under acceleration, HELP

I dont' know what's wrong with my old maxima. I sold it to someone i know and i'm trying to help her diagnose a problem. It's only started doing it recently, if you are cruising at just about any speed and not pushing the gas it's completely smooth, but when you roll on the throttle you get a pretty noticable shake back through the steering wheel and the rest of the car. I thought it was a bent 18inch rim, so i put the stock rims back on. Little bit better but still there, changed the spark plugs(i just blew the engine and i don't think nissan replaced the plugs so i figured maybe they were fouled ect...) didn't fix it. Next we changed the motor mounts, front and rear because they looked a little beat up. No luck. i'm about to call nissan and see if they can look at it but i'm stumped. i don't know what it could be and i just want to figure it out so i can never have to think about my car ever again. Thanks in advance guys.

Axels, CV joints might be bad.

You may also have a misfire under load.

i don't think it's alignment because it would happen all the time it's only under load. plus the car drives straight and i just had an alignment when i got the new motor

it's a 6-spd

and that's my last thoughts on what it could be, an axle or CV joint. You think it could be wheel bearings????
also the only other thing i could think of is maybe the coilpacks and they are misfiring under load.
BUT i didn't mention before it's worse at some speeds then others, it's not gear dependent, just speed. like at 60 it's the worst then it levels out a little.

It might be the Frankencar intake... call Steve & raise hell with him!

j/k of course!

May not do anything, but use a $10-$15 injector-cleaner. You may also want to clean the throttle body (another $10 investment for the TB cleaner)

How about hi-speed wheel balancing? Maybe a counterweight fell off.

when my wheel weight fell off it was shaking around 45-50mph when i let off the gas and it fell to 40-35mph it stopped and shook with I sped up.

i'm pretty sure it's the inner CV joints. It's at nissan getting looked at right now. i checked www.raxles.com they have a troubleshooting section and i used that to diagnose it. unfortunately they do not have the joints or the axles for my car so i might have to have nissan do it. we'll see.
