Frankencar ordering questions

I'm wanting to get a frankencar intake but want to know the difference between the midpipe and the whole shebang.

I already have a filter and couplers needed. The main question I want to know is, where does my MAF go in the midpipe section? I dont understand the maf adapter or the need for it, where it goes, etc. The pictures on frankencar.com dont show the product very well imho.

Shouldnt the maf fit into the midpipe into a machined hole and bolt right in? Also, where does the MAF screen go? is that what the maf adapter is for, the screen?

I dont see how the midpipe and couplers can be $65.00 and then if you only add the maf adapter and filter the price jumps to $135.00.

you can check out my pics on my homepage for the arrangement. with frankencar the maf does not fit in the midpipe, you simply use the existing maf tube and couplers to attach it. so from throttle body to the filter it would be coupler, midpipe, coupler, maf tube, adapter, then filter.

Oh, and the extra $70 is for the MAF adapter AND the cone filter I believe.
