in need of desperate assitance..has anyone had this problem with their AE door sills?

so the one thing i forgot to check after i get my car back from the autobody is the AE sills.. im cleaning the car today and i notice on them..mostly the drivers side..there is water spots..or thats what i think..so i try to wipe them down with everythign from a damn microfiber cloth to armor all cleaning wipes..and whenever the sills get wet..the water spot "things" disapear..as soon as i dry them..they reappear..like the sills are permanatly smudged...
now im not happy..and im curious if ne1 knows what the hell is going on and what i could do? hopefully not buy another set..thanks guys

I have this problem everytime I wash my car. Whenever it rains or I wash it, water gets on the sills. What I do is either

A) Windex works wonders on those things

B) Try a tad bit of wax - I know it sounds crazy, but I've done it before

Hmmm, I just bought some AE sills, on the way from Courtesy. Time to break out the Windex and wax I guess ;( or........

Maybe I should coat them with something prior to install? Comments?

I don't have any problems with them. My cleaning procedure is a wipedown with a damp T-shirt, also used for the door-jamb wipedown, and a second wipedown with a Windex-ed paper towel, when I do my windows.
