2K2 SE 6spd Newbie Needs Help

I'm a new owner that just bought a gorgeous 2K2 SE with 8200 mi. (I'm really jazzed about this car!) Is there a way to get the factory build specs for this particular vehicle? Would like to know paint and interior color names, if has TCS, etc. BTW, this is one of the best organized sites/forums that i've ever seen. Kudos to all responsible!

Congrats on the new ride! I also have an '02 6-speed and love it. Yeah it has some faults but overall it's a great car. I'm not sure where you could get all the specs - sorry. By the way, I'm pretty sure the 6-speed does NOT have TCS (traction control?). To the best of my knowledge, only the automatic comes with traction control. By the way, what color did you get?

It's very dark charcoal with light grey interior. Don't know factory names, hence the post. BTW, got it for $18.7K. Is that a good or fair price?

You have purchased the Grey Lustre Exterior paint.

As for interior, not sure of the factory name.

Welcome to the org! You'll definitely enjoy the comraderie here--it IS one of the best forums out there.

Anyhow, I'm not sure about the interior color name (is it leather or cloth?), but like Yakuza said, 6sp do not have TCS. Instead, there is an option for HLSD (helical limited slip differential) which was available on all '03s (as an option) and I think for some '02s. Basically, look at your pedals--if they are "racing" pedals (silver looking), then you have HLSD (given that previous owner didn't put them on), and if you have the regular rubber ones, then you do not have it.

Hope that helps a little bit. You may also want to check the FAQ section at the top, which may answer a whole bunch of other questions you may have.

Enjoy the car and welcome.
