Anyone ever install the Blitz DTT DCII Turbo Timer?
I know that this is in the "wrong forum", but I do need help with this. I have the Blitz DTT DCII Turbo timer and the instructions are for a universal application. Now, the following wires go to the "ingition module"? on the car, but I need to know which one goes where.
Red Wire - 12 volt constant
Green Wire - 12 volt ignition
Blue Wire - Accessory
Black Wire - Ground
Purple Wire - Ground or hand break
I know that I cannot install these wires to anything with those markings, but that most of these wires will go to the ignition module, correct? I just need a little help on this. Thanks guys.

Yeap, you want the Green wire to tap to the 12V ignition wire on the ignition harness. I believe the Black also has to go to the igition harness. Because if I remember correct from my small engine days when you turn the car off, you are basically sending a ground and it cuts the power.

Anytime next week starting monday, Im not in town this weekend.
Oh yeah just remembered, Take the Black and Purple and just ground them. Your left with the top three wires you listed. Finding the three wires that corelate to the iginition harness is easy if you got a voltmeter. Just test the wires to find the 12V constant with the ignition off (wont be hard, its a thick RED wire). Then you want to turn the ignition one turn to accesory, and find the accessory wire. That white will be hooked to the Blue wire from the Blitz. Then turn the ignition one more turn to on position. Then find the wire that goes 12V when you turn it. Verify it by kicking the key back one turn to accessory and that wire should read 0 volts. Thats the wire you want to hookup to the Green wire.
I dont have the wiring pinouts for your year max, i only got the ones for a 5th gen. But I just looked at a 97 FSM and its shows the 12V constant being a White/Purple wire going to the igition switch. This is going to be a thick wire since it has a 30amp fuse. Verify these wires for me, from the igition harness it seems to show a BLUE wire as the accessory wire. Main reason being is because this is going to the audio system to kick it on. Also seems to show a Pink/Green wire as the ON position wire on the igition harness. Hope this helps, should be easy to make sure with the voltmeter.

WOW, thanks Dixit. Yeah, the wiring should be the same because Nissan is pretty good about that (having done my car, my girls Altima, and my brother's 240SX). I appreciate the help guy. I will drop off that compression tester over the weekend. Thanks Dixit.
