Addco RSB Installed, well almost

http://pictures.sprintpcs.com/share....mdz8hPO7OkhQxL

ok here is the thing. Jason (N34JZ) being a good friend of mines gave me a rsb that had been lying around the house. Of course a good friend i am i am gonna pay him for it.. Another goood friend Deigo, Dsta installed it tonight. Well we had problems.
  • One, one bolt was missing, 19mm bolt that holds the bracket
  • The rubber bushing was so worn that the 19 mm bolt will not come off the stock rsb, had to hammer it out
  • Started to rain
  • The Addco instructions tell us to reuse all bolts execpt the 19 mm which come with two.
  • The Bolt that the red urethane bushing bracket you are to use the 14 mm bolts off the old one, thing is the old ones were rusted, but still able to use it. Now the bracket needs to be filed in order for the bolt to go through bracket.
  • Once that was complete time to install the urethane bushing to the stock support bracket.
  • Now since i was missing one 19 mm bolt of one side i had to use a zip tie (Heavey Duty) to attack the RSB to the stock support Bracket.

Basically it took 2 hours, but that was because of the rain and use getting wet and cursing. Diego sweating his ballz off. I have to drive slowly on turns to make certain that the zip tie doesnt come off. I have to order another bolt from Addco.

Results: Well IT feels alot better than stock. The turns feel more planted. Now once i get that bolt i will be set and i can fully test it out.

Diego, Bro, I dont know what to say, your the man.! And thanks to jay for supplying the RSB. Another mod yet done to my max. Now I hope that i dont have any issue with my Greddy Cat back exhust when i install it later down the road. Sub Frame connectors are next in line as well as fsb and a rstb.

Boy. This ve is going through a drastic make over, performance wise. Now to looks.

Well once he gets the new bolt he'll drive it to a muffler shop where he can get it welded and stuff.

Izzy, the RSB has to come down when were going to install the muffler, I remember we had to do that for my car but it will be on a lift so it shouldn't be that bad. Get that bolt next day if you can so you can enjoy the full effect of the RSB.
