Upgrading braking system, 300zx rotors?
Ok..I am in a quest to get better braking performance
so far I have changed the front pads..
yeah..not much...
it seems to many that the porterfield pads bite the best though dusty. I opted this option for my front pads.
Will The axxis metal master pads be sufficient for the rear?
Next...Will 300ZX front rotor fit my stock break and wheel setup? How good are brembo's rotors?
if not....what is the best rotor to have on my car? I've heard this crazy misfortunes with rotors that I would definitely like to avoid given my pads and caliper setup.
SS lines, how good are these compared to regular rubber stuff? I know it tends to bloat less compared to rubber. I guess it provides better pressure to the caliper?
What does speedbleeder do other than assisting in changing brake fluids? (ok..Please correct me if I am wrong on speedbleeder function...)
I guess my next best option is getting 17 inch rims and upgrade to BREMBO's or AP brake kits...or skylines..but then again that is a lot of money.
I painted the caliper, partially, to test the fading of the paint with Engine Paint bought in autozone...I'll let you all know of the result of this test later...I wanted to see how it fends against the elements. Hopefully well.
alright

hey
you cant use the 300ZX rotor with the stock calipers. The Z rotor is thicker then the Maxima one.
SpeedBleeders are good for bleeding your system at the track or wherever by yourself. Simply loosen all the bleeder valves, press brake pedal, tighten, your done. There is a check ball inside that prevents air from entering the system.
