Please help with q's about h3 foglights

To my understanding the fogs should be rated 55w. I found some PIAA H3 Super Plasmas and Xtreme Whites on ebay but their description sketches me out.
The Xtreme Whites say 110w and in a later description it says 55w = 110w
see it here:
and the Super Plasmas say 85w and later goes on to say 55w = 85w
here:
Are these safe for me to buy and install in my Max? I don't want my fogs to explode or something...
I have a 2k3 by the way. Thanks in advance.

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but the first number is the actual wattage, the 2nd number is the approximate brightness. (ie: A 55 watt bulb that has the output of a 110 watt bulb).

The PIAA Xtreme Whites glow with the brightness of a 110W bulb, but only draw 55W. They wont fry your harnesses. I've had them on two different maximas and no problems whatsoever.

Most Piaa H3's are fine. I have had 2 different sets, Super plasma and my Ions that I am using right now.

I'm leaning towards the Xtreme whites but it looks like the super plasmas can be brighter since they are rated 5000k. (or maybe just bluer... not sure) Does anybody who owns super plasma and have seen the X-whites have any comments?

The Xtreme whites are a better match for 2k2+3 HIDs.

Xtreme White H3 Fogs and Xtreme White 9005 Highs. The 9005s are too yellow but the H3 bulb is right on

Piaa super plasma are very close.. I've never owned the Xtremes so I can't compare the two...

Take a look at page 2 of my homepage I have pics of my setup.

I have super plasma headlights and Xtreme white fogs. The super plasmas have a slight purplish/bluish tint. The Xtremes are really white and in my opinion a little brighter than the plasmas. It may just be the housing though, since it's smaller it may appear brighter.
