Could I use the Piaa Super White H4 80/80 watt Bulbs or is the 80/80 too much? n/m.

depending on where you live. If its too cold outside chances are your bulbs will burn out quicker. But its not good for the factory harness either. good luck

I live in Austin Texas, it rarely gets cold here, I wanted the

55/65 (I think) But the shop I went to did not have them in stock and told me the 80/80 would work. It doesn't get that cold like upstate, I will let you guys know how long they last, hmmmm that doesn't sound too good.

well besides the lasting factor, U R looking at the wire harness factor also. Some of the guys say the Wires get real hot and you may need to upgrade your wire harness. Carparts has upgraded harness. I think Roger just had his blow out in less then 4 months but then again he lives in NY. I went with the 55/65 plasma. Look Ok but if U want the white look go with the plasmas.

I went with the 80's before, but changed to the Plasmas when one of them blew. I would say no, don't do it because in due time you'll have to change the harnesses... but it's totally up to you.

Do not go any higher than stock wattage without upgrading the wiring harness. I actually was gonna buy those a while back from Courtesy before I got the ones I sold you. Steve decided to test it on a 2k they had as a demo at there dealer, and tested it for a week. The guy drives about 50-80 miles home and another something back everyday at night so its a long trip. It did start to burn the wires, and they did not recommend it.

DO not do it.
