My friend loves the way how my stock springs feel. I like how they feel too. Are there springs out there that just drop the car, and have the same rate springs as factory? or am I better off just getting the H&R springs?

Well, you can't effectively lower the car and have the same-rate springs; the car would bottom-out a lot. The H&Rs are your best bet. Do you know of anyone with a Maxima with H&Rs that will take you for a test drive?

No cutting. That's what they do right out of the box. In fact, I had them installed a little over 2.5 years ago, the first week that I had the car. So they might even be the old 1"-drop springs (I was unaware that Eibach was gonna release new 1.5"-drop springs, so I didn't bother to check which ones I got).

i don't really recommend to use the stock spring. what i have for my car is " ground control " which lower my car 4" then i use Eibach spring. the most important thing is shock . i replace the old with KYB . " Enjoy the ride"

Which brand do you think is the best for springs and how much should I have it lowered?

well, Eibach is one of the best spring. it's up to you to make a decision. but saty away from Intrax. they said that they can lower the car for 3" that's not true. You will looking at 250.00 - 400.00. how much should you lower it? well, i lower it for 4" but that's mean you have to install the coil over. there's 2 brand that i know one is Cattman Performance the other one is Ground Control. there's no spring that can lower Maxima more than 2.5" if you don't use the adjustable spring.
