I just finished my 5 speed conversion and man what a difference my rpm's don't drop below 4800 but anyways I have a problem with my O/D light blinking at me everytime I start my car. I changed my ecu to a manual one but it still does it. Can anyone please help me! thanks for your help in advance

Unplug your TCU and the light will stop blinking.

TCU = Automatic Transmission Control Unit.

It's blinking because it can't find the automatic transmission anymore.

Tom - where exactly is the TCU located? Is it the one module under the center console?

Yes, I believe it sort of to the left of the Radio.

The TCU is located well below and behind the ask-tray assembly. It is a small silver metal box.

Just pull the O/D bulb in the gauge cluster. I did this because it's annoying to have an orange light come on everytime I shut the O/D off.

If the car doesn't shift into 4th, I know it's off...so there's no reason to have the dumb light
