Max blown up in S.W.A.T. movie

Go see S.W.A.T. and look for the 4th gen Max, which gets about 10sec screen time. Very clear shot.

I saw the movie and I saw the max. it was a burgundy one, 97-98? But I don't think it was blown up. My girl saw it too. We just said hey look at the maxi.

Good movie. They kept on refering to "westerns" like gunfights, honor, trainstation, 1 on 1, etc.

Correct, the Max doesn't get blown up. But a nice *** shot. Yes, 4.5 gen (97+). Emblem said GLE.

I want to check out this movie...

But a few things bother me already...Colin Farrel, LL Cool J and Michelle Rodiguez as SWAT officers (or cops in general) and the fact that LAPD SWAT would pull duty escorting a big shot criminal. It's usually the Feds (FBI or US Marshalls) that do this.

oh cmon...lapd has gotten so much bad press and exposure in the last 10 years...maybe last 15 years. it's about time they did something right. They don't redicule lapd this time around.

Oh, don't get me wrong, I have nothing but respect for the SWAT operaqtors of the LAPD, especially since they have been pioneers in this area of law enforcement. Heck, Daryl Gates practically wrote the book. I'm just saying that this movie looks a bit too "John Wayne" from the previews.

If it had a GLE Emblem, it was a 99.

Crap...trying remember the exact scene. Maybe 45min in, during daylight, uphill shot, camera following swat vehicle from left to right through an intersection. Max is right smack in the middle of the screen, waiting on a red (and watching the swat vehicle roll left to right)...

Like I said, most people wouldn't notice it cuz you're supposed to watch the swat vehicle, not the stopped traffic.

It's only a movie based on a TV show decades ago, made to entertain people not educate them on facts about law enforcement.

I did enjoy seeing Colin Farell use a Kimber 45. I love that handgun. Geeeez I miss my Colt 45 semi-automatic.
