popping sounds?? somewhere from the front...

hey guys, i need some help...

When I start up the car in the morning (or whenever the car has been sitting for a long time, ie. overnight) and then I back it out or drive forward, I get this loud *POP*... I think it's when I turn the wheel for the first time or something. It sounds like the tire blew but it isn't that.

I think this problem happened after I got my tranny rebuilt. I would go back to the tranny shop and report this error... but it's like the 5th time I'd have to go back and the bastards would keep my car for like 2-3 days for nothin and I'd be car-less... can't afford that

Any idea what this problem could be? Perhaps related to the springs/shocks or maybe the axel? Anything would be good, thanks guys!

if the pressure plate was getting stuck he would stall everytime he tried to turn off the car leaving it in neutral and removing his foot from the clutch before shutting the car off, so i doubt thats what it is, maybe the trans shop removed ur axle and didnt reinstall it properly, let someone else move the car for u after its been sitting and try to hear for where the "pop" comes from

You have a sticky strut bearing. Your hearing the spring pop as it breaks loose.
