i drilled the hole and now my air filter is up against the inner wheel well. im afraid this will be holding back air cause about half of my filter might not be breathing properly..anyone had the same problems or can help me out thanx.

My filter is making the splashguard bulge out and thus my front left wheel rubs against it when I make sharp turns at low speed.

 

when i had a CAI i was worried about the same thing. Its not supposed to rub up that close. the angle of the piping is off.
