squeaking from right front wheel when turning right...

even when there is no brake pressure, whenever I turn right, it sounds like what bad brake pads sound like, high pitched squeaking...I just noticed it today for the first time...any suggestions?

Does it only happen during the turn? You might need your bearings packed. Or something with your power steering.

Yep only with right turns, and I doubt it's power steering cause it's only right hand turns

same thing with me except on left hand turns and it's not too loud. I also hear it sometimes when I start the car.

I have a squeal sometimes when i turn right while applying the brakes. My front rotors and pads were changed out to brembos and axxis metal masters. Also added lots of anti-squeal compound to the shims. Only happens when I turn right while moderately applying the brakes. 96 SE 5spd here.

I was having somewhat of the same problem there are 2 springs on
each side thats supposed to spread the brake pads back out
after you release the brakes. If you loose one of the springs
the pads sit unevenly and that causes the squeal even with
new pads and in time they'll eat the pads away faster than
they should be. iansw told me to fix this prob you have to remove
the springs from the front brakes on both sides and apply
a little bit of brake quiet.

I would like to bring this topic back up after 11 years...

I have this squeaking too coming from the right wheel when turning right. It has progressed to doing it when stopping and going. I've had the bearing and hub replaced last year. Not sure what's going on.
