Got's New Junk in the Trunk!!

I just finished my first custom sub box. OK, don't flame me for the junk amp or sub. Its just temporary. Its a single 12 in a sealed box. (Ports were filled after i tested it. Sounded like dookey with the twin 4" ports) It sits right against the back seat at a perfect angle. Its made of 3/4" mdf and 3/4" plexi. This box pounds! Can't wait until i get a better sub and amp!! I'll get more pics from the trunk once i get a chance.

Pic of it before carpeting from the front.

From the back.

From Inside with the dome light on.. Just gotta cover up that metal bar.

Armrest down. LED light strip inside the box..

Can't really give you a write up, but its basically a plan/measure/cut/glue process. I think looking at the pictures will help alot.

New Pic looking in from trunk!!

Heres a shot from my trunk. What you guys think?

Andy21 - Its real easy to get the armrest to open up to the trunk. In the trunk just take out the piece of carpeted cover by popping out those plastic retainers (i can't remember how many). Then you just gotta take out the piece of cardboard which comes out with some screws. This cardboard is what you see from inside. Comes out very easy.

Thats a really nice clean enclosure. I really need to build one myself, but I've never tried. Only installed systems and ran wires. I also need to install my alarm, but I've never tried that either.

Custom Trunk

Good job man...I work a stereo shop and so many times I see people do a crappy job but yours is A1. My web page that shows my custom work is messed up right now. Some of my pages got deleted but I will fix it when I get home from Saudi Arabia. Once again nice job !!

that would be pretty cool. but make sure both sides have LEDs or else only one side of the etching would glow.

Did you use any write ups or wiring diagrams that you can post? I need all the help I can get, if I'm going to attempt this.
