Screwed Over On Headlights!!!

I have a 2k SE and i wanted to purchase some 2002 headlights. I entered an auction on ebay. The seller listed the headlights in "perfect condition". I won the auction, and when the headlights arrived, THEY WERE NOT IN PERFECT CONDITON!!! There were hairline cracks in both headlights housings, the ballast and ballast bracket were completely broken off the left headlight, and there are matching GAPING holes (2 each) on both of the headlights where the tabs used to be. I RECIEVED STOLEN HEADLIGHTS!!!!!!! What an A$$!!!!!!! GRRRR......... I have contacted the seller and requested my money back. He has not responded. RRRRRRRRR!

Someone please tell me how to post pictures. I want to show these horrible excuses for headlights to everyone.

Well that's what happens when you buy them on Ebay. That's why you get them soo cheap. Almost 99% of them being auctioned are all STOLEN!

How did you pay for the auction? Maybe you could report them to the local authorities, thats if you have their name and address. Notify ebay as well. I hope you get this guy. Good luck.

Did you use PayPal to pay him? File a fraud complaint with them. They'll put a freeze on his ability to do any future PayPal transactions until the matter is resolved.

I had a lady stiff me on an item I bought thru PayPal. I filed a complaint and she refunded my money (and she actually admitted to me that she wouldn't be able to do any more PayPal business until she resolved my "issue").

And this was after she ignored several emails from me. PayPal got on her a$$ and she got my money back to me pronto

Of course that will only work in your case if the ***** uses PayPal alot and needs it.

Good luck gettin yer money back

If you paid by pay pal, i recommend you calling your credit card company ASAP and report it as a fraud. If you paid by money order, you're SOL.

Good Luck going through eBay, even though they own PayPal.
PayPal is your best bet and definately contact your credit card company and provide them with a copy of the police report you filed.
Unfortunatley your are probably SOL!
eBay generally doesn't give a crap about the transactions unless they get national attention, like trying to sell your own kidney.
A buddy of mine has had his 900ss posted on eBay several times....except never by him. Unscrupulous individuals cut and paste descriptions get a down payment and bolt ....end of story!

Buying HID's off EBAY only fuels the market for more being stolen. Buying them off ebay only increases demand and puts the lights you just bought at greater risk. Do us all a favor, and buy them from the dealership please!!!!
And all you peeps with <2k2 keep your stock lights!!! PLEASE! I'd like to keep my factory hids!

Call the Police and Report to EBAY

I would write EBAY and advise them of this dealer that sold you the headlights and also I would call the police or go to them and advise them of this. You can actually catch this guy and have him arrested!!!
