installation of kenwood tuner/antenna for sirius

just purchased a kenwood tuner and antenna for my sirius ready kenwood head unit. has anyone tried installing on their own, or should i just bring it somewhere for installation? last thing I want to do is mess up my back window and get a leak or something. are there other options for where i can place the antenna? any step by step installation instructions or tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

yeah? does it work well there? that would be SO much easier and would save me $80 on installation at circuit city. plus, less chance of theft.

Try the antenna on the dashboard. That is where mine is located and works just fine. The Sirius service is great, can't believe it took me this long to find it.

i've installed it all and had it on the back deck. it definitely cuts out once in a while, but not so much that i've wanted to move it on the roof. stations are great, definitely glad i went for it.
