How to add fog lights to 5gen gxe?

i was wondering the cost of installating a oem fog light to a 00 gxe that i might be purchasing....or is it better of going with a aftermarket one but place in the empty slots...

I added OEM foglights to my ride and I paid like $180 for the package. I would pickup on these, that is an excellent price. All you'll need will be the stalk which is your turn signal switch. You'll have to replace it with one that's got the switch to control the fog lights. Your car is wired for the foglights. Install was pretty simple.

They should be fine because I run 80/100 watt h3's and rarely do I have problems. I do blow bulbs around every 3-4 months. Could be the reason I blow bulbs. But I can't stand the yellow factory bulbs.

$60 for a pair of OEM fogs. Jump on it or else "I" will ... lol j/k

Instructions for installation

OT: In case you don't like your (GXE) winshield wiper controller very much, well I didn't, you can replace it the ones from SE's/GLE's. It fits and works perfectly.

Wait how are these going to work without the stalk? If your stalk doesnt have the foglight switch, these are not going to work. You still need a switch then. That is why they charge $180 for kits like these from the dealer cause you also have to change the stalk.

ahh yeah you're right, shop manual says 35W for foglamp bulbs.

Damn, that is weak. Almost makes me want to change my bulbs for higher-wattage ones (not 80 or 100W though... that's asking for trouble down the road... maybe 55W if they're available?)
