Clear Corner Rewire Without Mutilating My Bulbs?

Does anyone know how to re-wire the cornering lights, so that it will be bright, without destroying my bulbs? I looked in VQ and thats the "mutilation" procedure. Please help.

It's easier to chop the nubs off the bulbs than to rewire it the "other" way.

Plus, bulbs are only like $1 each.

could someone post the correct way to do it other than the bulb mutalation way?????

I prefer not having my bulbs go out all the time like they did on my sentra using that trick.

My bulbs have yet to go out in about a year. As long as you use electrical tape nothing will go wrong...

i agree that it is kinda strange to cut up the bulb, but it is SO easy to go back to stock if needed (if you mod the bulb, not the wiring). plus, i dont like messing with the electrical system too much (i have seen too many cars catch fire due to incorrect wiring,) unless you plan to rewire it correctly (solder the wires together, not just twist and tape) just mess with the bulbs

That's just it, I dont plan on going back to stock, that crappy dull light stinks. It looks 100 times better when its fully lit.And of course I plan on doin it the right way, I could never hurt my baby. Anyone know how to wire it the right way?

filing off one of the nubs is easier than rewiring a whole corner light

heh...why would you need polar G bulbs when you can get a 1 dollar bulb from wal mart that is brighter than a polar g bulb

Some people just think they know better, then they mess up trying to rewire their bulbs, their car catches fire, and we laugh at them. Maybe next time they'll listen...

see

worst that can happen with cuttin a nub off is the bulb burns out faster

id rather have a bulb burn out then replace a 45 buck wire harness

There is a diagram with directions for rewiring the lights. I'd check the wires i swapped, but its raining buckets right now. You have nothing to worry about doing this mod, you'll blow fuses b4 burning up wires.

:o)

Everybody always thinks there are one of two ways: Perform 'surgery' on the bulb or perform 'surgery' on the car's wiring system. I didn't want to do either! All I did was 'force' my bulb in without shaving the nub. It is not that difficult. It's a little tight but certainly do-able. Just take your bulb out, insert it back in so the lower nub goes in the upper hole. The upper nub will just be tight up against the wall making no electrical contact. Good luck.
