AHHHH...man see this is what happens. MY sister just recently left for medical school and she left her Maxima here. Well ever since i started to drive it weird sounds have been emerging all over the place. So this morning I dropped it off at a local service center to get it chk out. You wont believe whats wrong. All four rotors and brakes are pretty much gone. The front axle boots were leaking grease. So I have to get new boots. WAM BAM the grand total to get all that fixed was $600. I dont have time to do it myself, so I went ahead and tould the guy to fix it. Man this is what I get for having an older sister.

P.S. (dont worry gonna make my dad pay for it. LOL) wish me luck

 

What kind of hardware are they putting on?

 

$600 for new CVs and Brakes or just CVs?

 

Your older sister and my older brother should get together sometime, lol

But really, I feel ya, I don't know what surprises I have once my brother gives me the max back again

 

Not a bad price for brake pads, brake rotors , cv boots and labour.

Ah... family is family. Gotta look out for your own

 

make sure they put on normal good CV boots, not the universal crap...

oh, and if you have a choice, opt for brembo rotors and good pads...

 

If given the choice of doing it myself for $150 or paying a mechanic $600 - I would MAKE the time to do it myself!
