Stillen X Drilled Rotors Cracked

So I washed my car and was looking at my front rotors when I noticed that the rotors were cracked. The drivers side, in 2 places all the wasy through and on most cross holes. On the passenger side, the rotor had one major crack and little cracks on most of the cross holes. The rotors had maybe 12,000 miles on them, and mostly go through a short 5 mile open road commute. Anyone else have this problem? Also an interesting note. The cracks were only on the outside of the rotors. My theory is that becasue of the way the caliper is set up, the piston retracts and the caliper always rubs on the outside. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

Cracks in cross drilled rotors doesn't surprise me. That's exactly why I got slotted.

From what I have read, don't expect any sympathy from the place you bought them.

I know a few guys that have bought things from them that do not fit, or are not what they were supposed to be....Stillen reall gave them a hard time with POOR customer relations.

I would be very afraid to buy anything from them..as tempting as their catalog is.

I had really bad experience with Stillen and I woul;d never buy products directly from them. The customer service is horrible and they lie about having parts in stock to the bitter end.

No cracks yet...

On mine... 25,000 miles on them so far.
Actually, it may be 30,000.

Wow, bumpin a 6 year old thread. There's a few threads dedicated to a 6th gen bbk conversion, and possibly some others. Search a little harder and you'll find them.
