I have noticed that my car takes much longer to warm up now that it is approaching the freezing mark every day. I don't mean it takes longer now than it did 2 months ago; I mean since last year at this time when I had the stock airbox in. I do like the torquey feel of the cool 40 degree air coming in once the engine is warmed up though.
Do any of you CAI owners remove your CAI for the winter and put it back in the spring?

 

I think im gonna leave mine on this winter. Hopefully my car will be ok when the temp. drops all the way to the low 60s in January.

I had my Injen in all last winter (not quite a CAI but anyways) I don't plan on removing it.

 

78 degrees as I drove to work this fine morning.... Hawaii rocks.

FYI- Air intake temps have little to do with engine warmup. Engine warm up is related to coolant temp. Naturally, when the temps are colder, it takes longer for the motor to warm up. With the temps falling, it's always wise to let the car idle for ~30 seconds and then start driving while keeping engine rpms below 3000rpms until full warm up. Keep your heat off too because the engine will warm up faster. DO NOT let your car sit there for extended periods idling to warm up. The goal is to warm up the engine as quick and safely as possible. A warm engine is an efficent engine.
