If you want one (a pop charger) I have one to sell. I had one for over a year, and it came loose on one pleat. I went to Jim Wolf's shop and they just gave me a new one. I used it for a couple of weeks and took it off two days ago, once again, this time for good. I like my car to be more on the quiet side now . Let me know if you are interested.

modify your stock air box, you'll be better off than with an aftermarket intake...

I just installed my pop charger yesterday (I'm on an auto). At low RPM you won't even know it's there, however the minute you go over say 4500 RPM, ppl from outside will start looking and yes you will hear it inside and out. Makes u sound like a V8.

by "intake" people here usually mean "frankencar HAI" or various "CAI" intakes.
HAI - hot air intake
CAI - cold air intake

there are also intake manifolds being mentioned, usually MEVI - a variable intake manifold from middle east (and japanese market) maximas. they do wonders for the upper RPM breathing!!!

thanks DMBK..that cleared up some suff i've been wondering about...so would the MEVI be considered "modifying" teh stock intake or would that be considered a full replacement? if not, then what did the other guy mean by miodfying the stock airbox? thanks
