installing FSTB

I searched and saw that installation of a FSTB called for a torque wrench. Is this absolutely necessary? I need to know before I purchase one of the Ebay ones...thanks in advance.

As long as you somewhat tighten them down all the same and within spec. If you know what 35 foot lbs feel like then you dont really need one.

If you have a lot of experience with bolting suspension, brake or engine components, I would say that you don't need a torque wrench, but if you don't, use one...it'll prevent you from under/overtorquing, assure a consistent torque on all 6 nuts and would be a good learning experience.

Go rent one. Most auto parts store have a rent-a-tool program.
