Question about financing through Nissan

Does Nissan allow you to make unscheduled payments.

Say you have a 4 yr loan , and in the 13th month you decide you want to pay the balance off. Do they allow that? Or if you want to make 15 payments per year to accelerate the payment of the loan?

Thanks

I think you can payoff the balance at anytime, but it's just a question of whether there will be penalties or not. We financed our Toyota Highlander through Toyota and got on a 48-mo loan and paid it off after like 10 or 11 with no penalty. Not sure how Nissan works, though, but if you can do it on Toyota (no penalty) then you might be able to with Nissan also.

Make sure you get documented info from them, because they are notorious for trying to screw people out of their money (mostly lease folks, but still, some terrible reviews/comments on the actual purchase deals as well...)

you can always read the paperwork that came with the loan, or call the number they provide every month on the statement (Customer Service Department, 1-800-456-6622).

or go here:

that answers some of your questions

Well, back in '95 when I bought my Max brand new, I financed thru Nissan and all my monthly statements had a payoff balance if i decided to pay off the car. I'm not sure if Nissan still does this today, though.

I think you'd be able to do that no problem.

I paid off my '04 Max after four months no problem. Each monthly statement shows the payoff amount.
