RE: Fair price for 95 se?

sorry, my last post got messed up somehow. Anyway, I can get a 95 se in excellent condition for US$6000. This is the price she is asking. Is this a fair price? It has the cloth interior, standard audio, automatic tranny. I will of course try to chew her down but just wanted the advice of the forum. I have a 93 se now but the engine is going out, the tranny is hitting hard and it needs new CB joints + the front exhaust manifold is warped. TIme to sell.

My girlfriend got her 95 SE auto, cloth, bose, no ABS with 81K with a perfect body and excellent interior for $6500, we felt it was a good deal since the car was in excellent condition and 1 owner with no accidents. Bone stock. Had new RE950 tires on it too.

That a little too high, they go for about $5000 with 100K, something like that, how many miles the one you look at has?

Paid for my '95 GXE $6000 with 89K/5sp this summer from private dealer and I overpaid (few dents and scratches) because did not know prices well enough.

Take your time! There are lots of Maximas for sale out there, if you miss this one.

Where the heck do you find these deals?!!? Dealers in the CT area are mad! They want $7k for a 97 SE (base model SE) with 150k and bad paint!

You need to look for private party sales.
