Fuel Cut Off at 7.000RPM in 1st gear??
Is that supposed to be so, safety feature for the engine?? Or is it the speed limiter???
Oh, yea, I searched but did not find anything that answered my question!

yeah it happens, its the rev limiter. i've done that once i though i was in 2nd about to pass a car out on left, and then i get over in otehr lane floor the pedal, and went t no wear, jkust heard load in take and car coming headon..lol
Your seeing 7000rpm on the tach, but its more like 6700rpm. Just dont make a habbit of bouncing off the limiter. Ive only done it once when my throttle got stuck, fun times...
Only time you should take it that high is with JWT/MEVI, then it would be sweet bliss...

Its not gonna kill a VQ... Not good for it, but every once and a while a run upto redline won't hurt. My 95 maxima i beat the **** outa. It saw the rev limiter about 10 times a day. Never had any engine mechanic problems at all.
