Fuel Cut Off at 7.000RPM in 1st gear??

Is that supposed to be so, safety feature for the engine?? Or is it the speed limiter???

Oh, yea, I searched but did not find anything that answered my question!

Good question?! I know I should not stress out my engine that much and I don't, usually I shift @ 6K if accelerating hard. But today, while accelerating on the highway, I accidently went over that and suddenly feel this complete powerloss, so hence a question! Is that supposed to be so?

Your seeing 7000rpm on the tach, but its more like 6700rpm. Just dont make a habbit of bouncing off the limiter. Ive only done it once when my throttle got stuck, fun times...

Only time you should take it that high is with JWT/MEVI, then it would be sweet bliss...

Its not gonna kill a VQ... Not good for it, but every once and a while a run upto redline won't hurt. My 95 maxima i beat the **** outa. It saw the rev limiter about 10 times a day. Never had any engine mechanic problems at all.
