Does anyone know anything about these "K&N style" intakes that are being sold on ebay for $14 shipped? The seller is designracing and an item number for these intakes is 2440562968.

Is it worth the money or is it junk?

thanks.

I do not think that those cheaper filters are reusable...where the K&N is. So even though the initial cost may be cheaper, your better off with the real K&N in the long run.

Intakes main design is for filtering, not just style or performance... I doubt this one filters air very well and most likely just adds noise and air flow.

I say save your engine and save some money and get a better filter.

Go to an autozone or something and pick up a K&N flat panel intake. Also use the search feature on this site and type in Ghetto Air Box a.k.a. GAB its one of the most efficeint setups period.

yea, the filter is attracted to other filters of the same gender . Its washable, but i dont know how good it would be at filtering...thats what you get with no name brand anything. Touch and go with the quality.
