Tire replacement for 2001 Maxima SE
Hi there,
I have a 2001 Maxima SE with factory installed Toyo Proxes A5 tires. At about 21000 miles, I noted that the tires seemed pretty worn out: maybe another 5000 miles left. On calling Toyo they authorized a 50% adjustment so I can get another Toyo tire at half the price. They recommended the TPT as a replacement. Is this tire worth getting? Should I get some other Toyo tire instead? Or some other manufacturer (but for another manufacturer I will not get the 50% adjustment).
I care about handling on dry and wet road and only occasionally do I drive on snow. I would like something that lasts longer than 20,000 miles also.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
