What if any wheels from a lincoln will work on the later maxs?

Here's a page from a bolt pattern reference I have bookmarked: http://www.discountedwheelwarehouse...._Reference.cfm

Unfortunately they don't seem to know the centerbore for the bolt patterns that would fit. You might have to ask a Ford or Lincoln forum... or I could try asking someone I know with a Town Car later tonight if he knows this spec.

The bolt pattern is right from a TC but backspacing appears to be a little iffy hope you find some info on centerbore.
