I cant seem to get mine to work how I want it. when I set it sometimes, it will be so sensetive to taps on the hood yet it wont go off if I pound the doors. I cant seem to get it to work how I want it which is to warn when you knock on it but set off when you hit it harder.

Where sould the sensor be mounted? I have it zip tied to a wire harness right now.

Whats the proper way to adjust it, do I simply turn the screw?

Where do you have yours mounted and how is your **** adjusted? ?

When I install alarms. I either have the shock sensor zip tied to a big bundle of wires under the dash or if there's a spot, I'll zip tie it to a piece of metal. As for adjustment, turn the screw to the right to make it more sensitive and left to make it less. When I test for shock sensor, I just smack the front windshield to see if I get an away warning. Then I go to the rear windshield and do it again.

 

Mine is all the way up and wont go off if I knock. It only goes off on hard hits
