Driver's side headlight/wiring harness keeps burning out!! >=oT

My driver's side bulb or wiring harness keeps burning out... sometimes it's the bulb, sometimes it's the harness... but it's always the driver's side... can someone explain why that is? I was thinking of getting HID because i'm sick of replacing the parts but if it's burning out because of electric issues w/ the car then there is no point in getting HID because the bulbs and ballasts would be too expensive to replace all the time... need everyone's input... thanks

Solution is to use STOCK wattage bulbs...

You may even burn your H/L switch/stalk... It's a common problem in our cars.

Three solutions.

1. Go back to stock wattage bulb.
2. Ground the headlight sockets to a piece of metal near by. The shorter the ground the better it is. This will reduce the heat at the harness.
3. Get the headlight harness kit. Thicker wires.
