Gauging interest for HP Racing's new wheel the HPR 5

Hey all, this is just to see if anyone is interested.

When I was at SEMA, I met up with the guys from HP Racing, they had a new wheel on display. All I can say is DAMN. I did not get a shot of it but will be calling to see if my rep can email me a pic for all to see (if not I will scan the brochure pic). It is one piece and the sizes are 18x8, 18x9, 19x8.5, and 19x9.5 and the offset is 38...the lip on these rims was truly beautiful and the finishes it comes in are hypersilver or chrome...the only rim that comes to mind is the ROH Modena...here is what that rim looks like:

http://www.groupawheels.com/modenaphotogallery.htm

Once again this is a check to see if anyone is interested in something like this.

Thanks,
Harry

How much for 18x9 and 19x8.5? Do they look more like the Modena or the RH C5?

More like the Modena. Not even close to the C5. The 5 spindles look more beefier and show more definition, almost more muscular??? if that makes sense...than the C5, which is a straight forward flat design.

the modenas are definitely HOT... get some pics to us of the actual HPR5 rims and give us some price estimates....
quick question... RE: raf2k's post above:
can we even do staggered rim sizes for our car? will they fit wider in the back than the front? i thought we couldn't... but if we can.. that would be pretty interesting to see...

Sorry for the delay getting the pricing up buy I have been calling other competitors to see what they are offering the New Lightning for to make sure that the price is right. The HPR5's will be a bit more due to it being a new release, but not by much more ($75-100)

I am trying to include shipping, the whole shabang. Canadians will need to get in touch with me due to this product will be coming from the States, and I have to incorporate all fees and customs stuff into the pricing.

Thanks for your patience.

Ok I will definately update this as I have the pricing on the New Lightning but still am waiting word and my picture of the wheel. So far, I have 3 sets of the 18x8's in Silver (no other color avail-Hp's out of stock) and 5 sets of the 19x8.5 Lightning available in silver or hyper silver dark (that is the one in the pic) Those wishing for staggered fitment 18x9 in the rear, I'm not sure that they will fit back there. I have 20x8.5, and no rubbing issues at all. So 8.5" is a safe bet.

Now I also have ordered the HPR5, but am still waiting for word on when they will be at HP. Same order 3 and 5. Since they have my money, I have no idea as to what finish will be available first.

Here is a teaser: What do you think of a rim and spring deal? Any set of HP's with Maxspeed springs? Is that something some of you would be interested in? I'm seriously looking at it..

I can start a gb on the Lightning right away if you want. Let me know.

Hey guys, pricing and weight will be up Monday.

No one answered on the idea of including an option for Maxspeed springs in this deal? Would that be a good idea? Let me know.

As for EVo and New Lightning...the wheel with the bigass lip is the correct wheel
http://www.wheelguyz.com/cgi-bin/pro.../HPEvoGrey.jpg

Offset is 38.

I am sure they can do tires, but I'll have ask on monday. Most manufacturers have a select few brands, for example ADR uses Federal and Ventus.

Ok the pricing for these will be more, but not by much. I am on the phone daily with my rep over at HP and he is stating that the wheels are brand new release and their price point will be a bit higer due to that. I will be looking at pricing near the mid week of February.
