Do any of you guys know whether the stock alarm can be disabled on a 5th gen? If so, will that interfere with the keyless door entry? Basically, my stock alarm is out of whack and I can't seem to reset it. The alarm goes off at any time the doors are open whether the engine is running, key is in ignition ... no matter what? Disconnected the battery overnight didn't help it. Any ideas how I can disable it?

 

well im pretty sure the keyless entry is hooked to the alarm, but cant be sure

 

Check your BCU fuse...this happened to me recently and I replaced the fuse and all was normal again.

 

Whats the BCU fuse and where is it located. I can replace it but I'd need to know where it is. Thanks
