Well, its rainin like a b1tch out here today... and i didnt mean to try this out so soon

Anyways, as i was fetching food for my roommate on the way home, i decided (semi-late, its hard to tell in the rain) to beat traffic on the right turn.. i didnt think i stepped on it that hard, but the car jumped right into 3-4k rpm range, and ran up fast.

The butt dyno definitely feels a difference. I might post more on it later, dont know who cares or whatever. We'll see once it dries out, or when there isn't as much traffic.. BTW, thanks and good luck Cheston.

Ok.

Will try to give it a lil exercise as soon as roads are a lil drier, and traffic a lil lighter.

BTW, I forgot to mention, no check engine lights yet. *knock on wood* .. last time we tried this like 3-4 months ago all we got were lights ..

Small update..

Knocking on wood is useless...

Check Engine light lit up today after like 5 min as I was headed to school.

But, as Cheston was saying, it doesnt seem to do anything other than annoy you. Car seems to pull harder just crusinin along around 90+, dont have to hit it as hard to get umph..

Will try to do a dead stop run when i have a chance.. all ive been doing is driving freeways etc during traffic.

I see some other ppl with 96's have theirs, but for those of you 97's, I think we need a 96 rear o2 sensor.

Anyways, will post more when im more aquainted with it.. ive had it in for less than 24hrs.

Does this work on a 98?

This might have been asked before, but interested to know the possibility to do the same on a 98. Thanks.

Well I'm do to send in my ECU soon But I did not know
about check engine lights coming on. What's with that?
Can something be done to cancel it?
Robert said I would have no problems with emissions or
check engine lights.
Can someone address this?, Thanks,E

Hey E,
your 95 will not have any check engine or emissions problems.

95 and 96 are OK.

pjung_hej:
this will NOT work on a 98/99/00/01
sorry.

Cheston

I called Robert on Friday asking about the availability of any extra 95-96 ECU's that are ready to be programmed & installed. I have a 97. He told me to ask you about it....

I was hesitant to purchase the ECU, but after hearing from a few of you about the gains, I'm sold! About how much horsepower gain do we gain from this ECU? Is it just simply plug and play? i.e. like after I get the new ECU back, just simply plug it back in? Now, I hope I know how to get the ECU out first.

Yah

I have a 97, please note that. I gimp modded my max to work with a 96 ecu.. will have to work on that check engine light.

But you 95-96 guys, this is essentially a plug and play mod.

Which O2 sensor for '97 ?

I think we've got 5-6 97's in this deal. Anybody know which product code is for the rear sensor? Does it depend on the '96 board code we're using?

These are possible choices from Courtesy Nissan
226A0-0L711 $65.58
22690-40U62 $116.82
22690-40U15 $69.97
22690-4L000 $116.82
22690-40U05 69.97
