Exhaust piping hitting stab bar problem...
Exhaust piping hitting stab bar problem...
Hey guys.
Again, just a BIG THANK YOU for all your inputs.
You know you guys have my utmost respect.
I got a custom catback exhuast system about a year ago.
Then I had my car lowered.
I've noticed a thudding noise from the rear when I go over bumpy roads and such, but even more so when I have a heavy load.
I couldn't figure out the problem.
Anyway... long story short...
The catback piping that bend over the stab bar is actully being hit by the bar when the car is weighed down and the roads are bumpy.
Just wondering if anybody else is having the problem.
I'm not sure if I need to contact the guy who did my exhuast, because I'm not sure he's a fault. I guess I'm thinking that even with stock piping, if a car is lowered the stab bar will hit the piping at some point. True?
I'd like to hear your comments.
Happy Happy Holidays!
