Street Scene Grills 00 SE

I sent an email out to Street Scene to see who sells their grills and they gave me a list:

Stylin Concepts at 800 434 1639
Truck Performance at 800 719 8100
Dealers Sport Truck at 800 558 5499
Godfathers Custom @ 888 231 1101
Sport Truck Direct at 888 800 8123

Has anyone dealt with these guys before? Any other suggestions? I'm planning on doing this mod:

I got my lower Street Scene's Valence from CustomMaxima.com about 1.5 years ago for I don't remember how much. It was through a Group Buy on this site actually. I don't like the way the main grille looks, so I just went with the lower valence. I wasn't too thrilled about having to chop-up my stock grille in order to install the Street Scene's, so I went with just the lower. It looks hot though

BTW, I highly recommend spraying a few layers of clear coat over the grille before you install it because it tends to rust when it gets weathered.

Yeah, I figure I'd give these guys a call if I don't hear about anything else. I want to get both the upper and lower replaced but I have heard about the damn rust problem. What type of clear coat spray do you recomend?

If you look at that link above, you can install the main grill over your OEM w/o cutting. I figure I would try that and see what I think.

Any clear coat paint will do. It helps prevent rusting, but does not 100% protect the material. Make sure you spray the entire grille, front and back. I've seen the grille installed over the stock grille in person a few times, and it doesn't look too good in my opinion. I've also seen it with the grille cut-out, and it looks a lot better. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

Did you buy the main grill or just the Valance? Did you have to weather coat it?
