I've been hearing noises from my suspension everytime i go over bumps and when the car sways ..it's sounds more like a sqeaky spring along with some crapping noises....found this on the internet:
"Noises from the right front strut require replacement of the rubber spring seat. (2000)"

So whats a rubber spring seat and can it be checked visibly to see if this is the problem?

 

Are you stock or aftermarket?

The rubber seat sits on top of the spring. I doubt that is your problem, but it is hard to say.

I had a similar problem with my 4th gen when I installed the H&R's and I put a hose around the spring to stop the noise.

You would have to take it off to check the seat. How long have you had the springs?

I would say it is either the strut mount or you may have lost a isolation sleeve.

Have some turn the wheel while sitting still and see if you can narrow down the noise.

 

It's a round rubber piece that mounts to the top of the coil spring to insulate it from the upper spring seat. You might have to remove the strut assembly to inspect it thoroughly. How many miles do you have on your car?
