air/fuel meter

Everything was going right until I had to install the purple wire to the oxygen sensor reading. This is where I have come to a dead end... Once connected to the white signal wire from the O2 sensor, the meter does not read... I do not think that my O2 sensor is fouled due to my check engine light is not on.... I thought that maybe I had the wrong wire so I connected the wire to the blackwire and again no luck.... I do get current from these wires but for some reason I get no reading...can anyone help?

thanx

did you get the wiring from that other thread?
also it does not always read. did you go for a drive?
sometimes mine will not read at all if its idling or in neutral.

Doesn't the o2 sensor have to warm up a bit for you to get any appreciable reading??

me too, Im getting rid of mine and getting another one when I get my new pillar pod, I know that those things are testy and if you connected it to the wrong wire you probably messed it up.
