Well I got my SC in today at 12:30 PM and have been installing it{my self} all day! So far every thing has been going smoothly "except" I busted my power stearing resovoir when I was trying to remove a hose. Well anyways I will pick one up tomarrow afternoon and procede. As for progress in the 9+ hours of work I have completed the first 14 steps and have about another 30 to go{damn this sucks!}. I will let you guys no tomarrow night how everything is going{if anyone cares}. I have to finish by Sunday because R.I. is going to get smashed be a huge snow storm, Argh!!! Just my luck! Well back to work.

May be a royal pain in the butt now, but tell us that after it's all done and you take a drive.

Installing a supercharger is a lot of work. If you didn't know this ahead of time, you didn't do your homework!

yep I knew it was not going to be easy at all. It has so many suprises that come up during the install that it is confusing.

Update: Today I have been at it again for about 7 hours straight! I am making progress but I am moving a little behing schedule{getting very tired}. Today I did step 14-20{very hard steps}. Well anyways I just bolted the SC on to the car and now I have to get the belt and belt ascesories attached. It now looks like the biggest snow in my life time is coming tomarrow eving, Damn it, I wont finish forever now,or maybe I will tomarrow, work, work, work.

You gotta love Stillen's instruction ->

You should check out the big brake upgrade kit. There are about 20 washers in the misc. bag. No where does it say where they go. Good thing I know alittle bit about installing brakes. The kit is not a perfect fit so the washers are for aligning the caliper with the rotor. Good luck on the Supercharger install. It's a big job but aleast you will know more about the SC than most people. Few people on this forum act almighty like they know their stuff, but they never wrench at their own car. They just repeat what their machanic told them. Second hand story doesn't count =)

Emax,

My hat's off to you!
An SC install is difficult.
I admire your "do-it-yourself"ness.

Good Luck and happy boosting.

Update: Today was ruff I had to take my oil back drain hose back off and adjust it to fit properly. I also had to take my belt back off and remove and refit a pully. All is well now,the belt and SC is on perfectly. I then proceded and made it up to step 28{auxilary fuel pump} and decided to call it a day because my body aches all over and it's getting dark out and the snow storm is getting ever so close. It looks like I am going to have to wait several days now for the storm to pass before I can continue the install. BTW I don't have a garage so I have to work out side on my gravel driveway, which sucks becaise the storm.

Thanks for asking,

The snow storm finally past today so I should be finishing up the install by tonight. I went out side during the end of the snow storm last night and installed my new fuel system which to say the least was very hard. As for steps I am on step #33 now, the only thing left to do is a little electrical work and my air assembly. I will make a post when I finish the install,so stay tooned.
