Power Antenna Stuck In Winter

Power Antenna in my 98 Maxima does not come out when I switch on the radio, that happens only in winters. In summers it is perfectly fine. Any suggestion how this problem can be solved.
Thanks >> Maninder Singh

i dont know how much credibility this had, but someone had mentioned that lithium grease had corrected the problem, i have yet to try it

i also wanted to bring this upto my fellow org'ers, what if we added a few droplets of antifreeze into the antenna housing? since water accumulates and freezes the mast, then prevents it from going up in the winter time wouldnt hat deter the moisture from freezing? just an idea
