Homemade red/clears?

I saw some guy on Cardomain.com with a 97 Max who made his own red/clear tail lights. How did he clear the stock yellow light? I've seen other people with this done too and had no idea how they did it,but now that I'm pretty broke,I wanna know how to do it without spendin' 130$ on new tail lights.Someone let me know how to do it.Thanks.

everytime someone says that you can't clear out 95 tails.....they never ever explain why...they just say you can't.....!!! well someone had to do it...otherwise their wouldn't be no red/clears on 95 and 96's out there....which there are!

heres an answer: the orange piece on the 95/96 tailight is NOT removable like it is on 97-99s. the red.clears you see on 95/96s are ones that were made with ALL clears then painted red. ENJOY!

i've seen some take out the orange reflector and not put a clear piece in it's place and leave it open. I think that looks pretty good. In order to get it to match the reverse light lens, would you have to take that clear lens out also. It's hard to tell on some cause there's nothing mentioned about it. Any pics that you guyz might have showing the tails w/o the clear lens would be great also.

even if someone WANTED to spend money to read people ask over and over how to clear their 95-96 tails, they aren't even accepting donations. honestly though how much do i gotta donate if i want to search?

to answer the question, it is POSSIBLE to clear the 95-96 tails, but there's no EASY way. i bet if you figure out a cheap or easy way to do it you could make a few grand selling them to other .org'ers.
