89 air flow meter cfm rating???

I recently aquired a 89 maxima 5spd and am looking to drop a 16g or a pair of 9b turbos onto it and was wondering how much air flow the stock afm will flow. if it won't flow at least 450cfm then what are my options as far as using other airflow meters w/ a super air flow controller.

any insight would be helpful

16g is not ideal on a 3.0L motor...TT = a waste

as far as upgrading the MAF, you can use one from Z32 90+ 300zx

there are plenty other threads covering this

no searching eh!

unfortuatelly I am a poor college student that can't afford a expensive JWT ecu.

would the use of a 300zx afm in conjunction with a super afc work instead of buying a ecu from jim wolf?

also, i'd like to purchase a single turbo, except I'm not really sure what size turbine I want/need cuz I want it to spool around 3.5-4k.
I'm thinking a t4 would be best but I have a line on twin 9b's off a 3000gt vr-4, that's the reason I brought them up.

is there a website where you can find the compressor maps for mistibishi (16g, 20g, 14b, etc) turbos?

thanks

you don't want any of the 14Bs on your motor...too small for such large displacement. I mean even the 16G for my Integra won't be as effeicient as I want and that is only a 1.8L motor, imagine your 3.0...you want at least a T3 or T4.
some good prices here--> www.cheapturbo.com

and if you are a "poor college" kid the last thing you want is to plan a twin turbo setup so scratch that idea real quick, single is hard enough, trust me been through it already on a 3rd gen VG.

this is the best info on running the ZMAF w/o JWT

good luck..VG turbo concept is rather easy though compared to these 4th gens...VG30ET manifolds are a dime a dozen at the junkyard...all the other small parts and probs are what gets you
