E-Brake Tightening

My max has 250,000 Miles on it already and the E-brake (Handbrake) is loose and doesnt work so good. Any ideas on how to tighten it?

remove the center console (6 screws) and then you'll see a small nut on a vertical bolt that can be tightened at the base of the ebrake handle

if that doesn't help, maybe your ebrake cables are broken/worn

I think the bolt Craig is talking about is 10mm.
